So Onlive.. who's gonna try it?

Apparently it's slated to be released this July.  I know some of you are PC gamers, how many of you have heard about this Onlive? Seems damn good, almost TOO good. I've pre-registered, but if it doesn't work out I'll be the first person to drop it.

yeah i dont believe it going to work as advertised until i see it or heard more about it once it is released.  Plus its a 14.95/month for the service plus rental/purchase fees for the games on top of that so seems like it could add up to a lot.

Also since I have a Mac with bootcamp and the fact Steam is coming to Mac, which is so awesome IMO, I dont see why I need this right now.

I could see be being useful to someone who has an older PC or no PC though

Absolutely, being able to play the latest games on a slightly beefier than normal netbook at 40 fps strikes me as damned impressive (again, with a grain of salt). If it pans out, it could change a lot... games are a huge driver of high end cutting edge hardware.

This could be really interesting.
